MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: April 7, 2014
Present: John Makuc, Robert Annelli and Peter Kolodziej
The meeting began at 4pm
- The minutes from 3/3/14 were approved.
- The Board discussed who should be appointed as the Burial Agent. The Board was hopeful that the Town Clerk would offer to do it again seeing as in most Towns it is the Town Clerk that does it since the Clerk also is responsible for death certificates. It was also suggested that maybe the Police should be responsible for this as they are available 24/7 and should be present for any deaths that occur within Monterey. John is going to speak with the Town Clerk and Peter is going to follow up with a local funeral home to see how other Towns are handling these permits.
- Peter gave an update on the permitting for Swann Lodge and the Youth Enrichment Services camp that uses the facilities.
- The Board will meet next on May 5th at 4pm.
